Accuracy comes before speed
We distinguish confirmed events, company claims, reported information and our own interpretation. Material claims need attributable evidence. Conflicting reports, serious allegations, unsupported metrics and unclear dates are held for additional review. We do not invent quotations, interviews, valuations, customers, revenues or clinical outcomes.
Original value
Every article needs a clear reason to exist: a consequential development and a useful perspective. We do not republish another outlet’s article or replace words with synonyms. We connect verified facts to founder decisions, explain uncertainties and link to the original source material.
The Daily Brief
We aim to publish twenty to thirty distinct stories each day, covering India and global startups, funding, AI, SaaS, fintech, climate and deeptech. Significance, freshness, evidence, reader relevance and geographic breadth guide selection. If fewer meet the evidence standard, we publish a clearly labelled smaller edition rather than manufacture news. A repeated company announcement does not become a new story simply because another outlet reports it.
Commercial independence
Advertising, affiliate relationships and sponsored contributions must be labelled clearly. Commercial relationships do not buy editorial coverage or favourable conclusions. No advertiser is described as a partner without an actual agreement.
Images and corrections
We use original illustrations or images with documented permission. Illustrations are labelled and do not pretend to depict the reported event. Material factual corrections are dated and recorded on the article; requests can be submitted through our corrections page.
